Hi, just found this plugin a few days ago and I’m blown away with the features!

I have another plugin that handles subscriptions and has a “dashboard” for a few content “views” I’d like to continue to use.

a Membership Plugin profile example link for “Activity” creates a URL that looks like “…/profile/(user)/activity”, making the links feel more like tabs on the profile page. Excellent!

How can I add a link and content area to my profile?
Ex. link to be added: “…/profile/(user)/myOldDashboard”
How would the content appear in the profile similar to how the Posts content appears?
If this is a simple modification, could you provide a short simple code example? Then I could continue on without breaking my plugin for future updates.
NOTE:( i imagine this question closely relates to someone asking how to extend functions with a child theme, same idea basically)

My current “myOldDashboard” is a Page with shortcode.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi @jamesmorris.ars

Please clarify you want to :

A: paste a link on the user profile activity inside your “myOldDashboard”

    or

B: or make link of your “myOldDashboard” inside the user profile activity?

B: make link of your “myOldDashboard” inside the user profile navigation

Add a link to the current nav:
The current links all look like this : “…/profile/(user)/activity” (posts/comments/etc)
the new added link should be the same structure “…/profile/(user)/myOldDashboard”

“…/profile/myOldDashboard” takes me away from my profile.

    Hi @jamesmorris.ars

It will be difficult to change our links.

Can I call the function through a child theme or is it a hard coded template?

.. I don’t want to change any core plugin files

    Thanks

    Hi @jamesmorris.ars

I’m sorry for a late reply.
