smonlineParticipantWhen I go into the Custom Buttons > Show Preset Editor, the labels on gallery category buttons remain the same size no matter what size I try to set them to. Changing the font changes the button font as does weighting, but no matter what font I choose, the font size remains the same in the category buttons. On that topic, I notice that there is a truckload of fonts selectable but none of them are the standard OS fonts like Arial, Courier, Tahoma, etc. Is it possible to use a font not listed in the font selection list?.. and why is the font of category buttons not changing size to match the size defined in the custom settings config? Thanks.

smonlineParticipantI’d be very happy to except WordPress isn’t letting me because it is already installed and there is no “Update” button on the plugins page so apart from manually FTP’ing into the WordPress directory on the server and hand deleting the entire plugin files and copying up the new ones, is there a simpler more foolproof method of updating the plugin that won’t trash my settings and doesn’t require backend file manipulation?
in the absence of being able to find any info in the forums or FAQ on how to update the Pro version, since WordPress won;t check for those versions, I have FTP’ed into the gone into the WordPress directory and deleted the files from the photo-pro subdirectory in the /public_html/wp-content/plugins directory and then uploaded the Pro zipfile and extracted the files which recreated the Pro directory and the plugin index now shows 2.5.7 instead of 2.5.5 it had been showing. Is that the only way to update the pro version of the plugin?
I can confirm the 2.5.7 has fixed the font size in the caption buttons bug so thank you for that, although the other bug I reported still exists, that being it doesn’t render upper and lower case exactly as listed in the config settings, as an example if you put “3rd” in the caption field, it still fills the button with [3Rd] instead of [3rd] and if you try putting “ABC” in a button it displays as [Abc] so it tries to capitalise the first letter and force lowercase on the rest instead of matching what is in the caption field.March 16, 2017 at 14:13 #12973

smonlineParticipantThe “other bug” I referred to has now been fixed in the latest version 2.5.8 and this time WordPress performed the update itself so consider this case closed with a huge smile! Great job ; Thanks folks.
