    Hi there,

    I bought a five domain bundle license, but while trying to activate any of the plugins I get a curl error: “cURL error 28: Connection timed out”. I checked the PHP configuration settings and these seem fine. Is it possible that there is some kind of conflict with other plugins? Would that possibly throw up an error like this? Suggestions are very welcome, as I am really excited about the pro-features and can’t wait to get started with them for my client.

    You have closed outgoing connections with the firewall and ports. Therefore, if the plugin is not activated and is written about exceeding the waiting time for a response from the server by the curl, then all the questions are about hosting. We understand that you have the ip addresses of wordpress servers shared for updating plugins.
    Requests for other internal IPs via fsockopen or curl will be closed. In this case, we recommend that you contact your hosting provider so that they allow outgoing connections to the host http://supsystic.com/

    Really? I run plenty of plug-ins on my site that have similar activation types and I never ran into an issue with any of them. I will check with them, but I sincerely doubt that this is a port or firewall issue.

    Still no resolution. Very dissatisfied. “You have closed outgoing connections with the firewall and ports.“ This is simply not true. I need you to fix this. I am a paying customer. Is there any way to remedy this manually? As it is ready to go accept for this crazy bug where I cannot get you to validate my license. Crazy.

    UPDATE
    No problem activating on a testsite with a different hosting company. Both with zero other plugins and on a basic theme. Seems you are right. Trying to get the webhost to comply.
