AnonymousInactiveI’m using the contact form and tried to format the date for the e-mail form. The web form does have the right format (dd-mm-yyyy), the e-mail doesn’t. This is applicable for the subject field as well the [form_data]. My local wordpress environment seems to be ok.
How to solve this?
regards, Jimmy

mila_supportMemberHi,
I’m sorry for the late reply.
Could you, please, clarify the issue? Perhaps you can make screenshots,
provide more detailed description and page link on your site with Contact Form.
Thus I can see what’s wrong and help you.January 25, 2017 at 22:54 #12441
AnonymousInactiveHi,
Of course I can give some clarification: The date field in the general wordpress settings are dd-mm-Y. In the form it is also OK(dd-mm-Y), but in the email it does show the US format Y-mm-dd. I would like to have the dd-mm-Y format in the email (subject and form_data). I do not know how to solve this. I do not mind to do some coding, but after a plugin update I could lose that.

Jimmy

mila_supportMemberHi Jimmy,
We will add this feature for you in one of the next versions of plugin.
I will inform you about the updates.February 21, 2017 at 11:01 #12684
mila_supportMemberHello!
Currently browsers don’t support the ability to specify the date format. The format will adapt to the language (locale) of the current browser (user) on its own.
