I’m using the Pro version of your plugin. Please tell me how to achieve the following: show a pop-up only for first time visitors, and until they make an action. So if a first-time user subscribes, he won’t get to see the pop-up (for the number of days I’ve set).
Not sure how to better explain this, it would be something like changing the inputs from the “Whom to show” set from radio (OR) to checkboxes (AND).
Thank you.December 29, 2015 at 15:04 #6801
“For first-time visitors” option will remember user visit for entered number of days and show PopUp to the same user again – after this period. To remember only for one browser session – use 0, to remember forever – try to set big number, for example – 99999.
“Until user makes an action (Subscribe / Share / Like)” option will remember user action for entered number of days and show PopUp to the same user again – after this period. To remember only for one browser session – use 0, to remember forever – try to set big number, for example – 99999.
If you want to use these options at the same time – it will be not quite logical. Because one of the features displays a popup during the first viewing of your site, and the second – displays the popup as long as the user performs one of the actions – Subscribe / Share / Like.December 29, 2015 at 17:23 #6805
Hi. Thank you for your reply.
Maybe I should rephrase a bit, then: I need the popup to show only once per session, so the “First time visitors” will be set to 0. However, if a person does subscribe, the popup should not show for the 99999 days, even when the new browser session starts.
Hope this covers it better.January 5, 2016 at 12:21 #6810
There is no ability to use “For first-time visitors” and “Until user makes an action (Subscribe / Share / Like)” at the same time in basic version of Popup plugin. But you can buy one hour of our support and we will add such ability for you.
