    Hello,

I am using the pro version of popup plugin. I created a popup to show on Exit; it is working but I am facing issues with social buttons. We can choose Facebook, Google, and Twitter share links to show in the popup or we can use Social Share projects.

When I choose the default 3 social links to show, everything works fine except in Mobile devices. The popup in mobile phone does show the popup but it does not show the images of Facebook, Google+, and Twitter share buttons.

If I use a social share project to show in the popup, then everything works fine except that there is one issue: the popup on the homepage shows the popup with social links containing the URL of the Top post [like, mysite.com/somepage.html,] instead of the homepage URL, which should be like mysite.com

    Need help, thank you

I am facing few different issues with the popup and social plugin. I will explain them one-by-one.

I have currently selected the Social plugin to show social links only on the homepage, but no links are shown.

    My site is: https://elance360.com/

My social plugin settings are shown in the following image:

If I select to show the social links everywhere, then the links are shown on all pages including the homepage, but the counter always show Zero. Check the following image. It shows social links shown by your plugin and behind it, another social plugin is correctly showing the counter:

In popup plugin, if I choose to show Social Links using the social link plugin, then the popup on the homepage shows wrong URL for sharing. Instead of the homepage URL, it shows the URL of the top post. Please check the image below:

I want to show visitors a popup if they click on a certain outbound link. If the visitor closes the popup or makes an action, the link then opens. Is there any way to do that?

I tried adding the following code “onclick=”ppsShowPopup(106); return false;” to a link but it does not work. I have tried different things to make it work, it did work once but after the popup is shown to the visitor, the link no longer work. It just shows the popup, then if you close it or make an action, the browser does not open the link.

On the following page, check the last link [the 11th link]:

Here is an image showing the settings:

About wrong URL there is a problem in Social Sharing plugin. We will fix it in next release. Approximately it will be on Tuesday next week.

According to your request – we can add option Redirect after close PopUp URL, which will redirect users to the specified (in admin area) link after they close popup. Tell me please will that option suit your needs?

    Hello,

There are few more issues I am facing. Yesterday, the social plugin was working; it was set to show buttons on the homepage and it was doing that. Then it stopped to work. In admin panel, I clicked on the project and then design. Here, the buttons were not shown correctly, so I clicked on “Choose Template.” Here, if I click on the first template, I get the following error “failed to load the selected set.” You can see this error in the following image:

    https://elance360.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/social-plugin-25.png

I then had to select another template; the social buttons then started to work again on the homepage.

There is another issue. I have two projects in the social plugin. The first one is set to show on Popup, and second one is set to show on sidebar[left], only on homepage. Sometimes when I select to edit the second social project, I see Popup selected under “Where to show” instead of Sidebar [left.] For some reason, this option keeps setting it self to Popup, and I have so far edited it back to sidebar[left], four or five times.

Another issue is changing the image in Popup. When I select to upload an image using WordPress upload feature, the image load get stuck. I cannot click on Inset into Post. The page keeps on loading. the image is very small and I tried this on multiple images. Occasionally, I can insert the image.
Also, is there a way to know what dimensions are best for any given popup template? I tried to add an image into “Photodoto Common type” popup. I tried big and very small images, no image seems to fit. I see stretched half image.

    Thank you

Also, is there a way to give users option to show/hide social button sidebar?

I am using Social and Popup plugins, and these two plugins are adding around 7 CSS and more than 7 .JS file load in the head section of my site. Is there any way to reduce the number of files that load in the head section? Can we reduce this by putting code in a single file?

Also, the popups that I am using in my site, none of them have Subscription form in them; still the source code contains code related to Subscription. The code is also showing my email address. Following is some of code:

“Thank you for registration!”,”reg_txt_invalid_email”:”Empty or invalid email”,”reg_txt_confirm_mail_subject”:”Confirm registration on [sitename]”,”reg_txt_confirm_mail_from”:”sye*************[email protected]”,”reg_txt_confirm_mail_message”:”You registered on site href=”[siteurl]”>[sitename]<\/a>”

Is it possible to load only the code that actually is used by the popups?

If I want to show the popups on all pages except, lets say, 5 specific pages; is there anyway I can do that? That is, exclude specific pages from showing the popup?
