Using popup on click in Divi theme

1. I would like to have the top right image “Buy the book” to popup [supsystic-show-popup id=105] which I have prepared.

When I enter the shortcode here – I don’t get the popup

I can get it to work by replacing the image module in the divi builder with a text module and adding this code

BUT
Many of the buttons have popups and we also have timed popups (the site is meant to be built by a 13 year old and intentionally has too many popups).

When I change all of the buttons text modules instead of images I end up with random <” displaying in chrome.

Can you look at my 1. example and tell me if I can add the popup shortcode to an image in a different way?

In Divi I can’t revert back to a full text mode of the page as it will lose all the building I did in the builder mode so I can’t add code as per your instructions in ‘text mode’ I need to use the page builder as I’m handing over the site to the creators of the music/gif project with relatively simple instructions on what to do when it’s time to add a popup.
