I have followed the page link on the site you have provided and didn’t find our plugin Maps.
Anyway, in the case you use several tabs, that are hidden in the needed moment on the one page and they contain google maps, no matter what maps plugin they are produced by, and no matter the way you use to show them, when you switch between tabs the map has to be updated. Saying other words the map has to be redrawn by Google API methods.
Otherwise, before the moment your map appears – Google doesn’t know what sizes the map should be. That’s why when you are loading the page and the map on the hidden tab has height = 0.
