Just purchased Pro after being pleased with Free version, but disappointed that Pro did not give me more map icons. Where can I upload more icons that will work with the Google map api? Preferably free ones :-)

You can find any icons that you want in Google. Here are some examples for you:
https://mapicons.mapsmarker.com/ – custom icons;
https://www.w3schools.com/icons/google_icons_maps.asp – default google maps icons.
Everything depends on your preferences.
