Hello,
I’m not sure if there’s a way to fix this problem, but it seems like every time someone views a page containing social icons, it creates a record in the wp_supsystic_ss_views table in the WordPress database. Maybe this is because of the analytics for a social sharing campaign?
Anyway, my wp_supsystic_ss_views table has over 13 MILLION records! It is over 680 MB! That is way too big for a social networking plugin. Is there any way to reduce this size? Is there a more efficient way to store this data in the database? We like the plugin so far, but it accounts for over 75% of the size of our entire WordPress database! Do we have to switch to another plugin?
If this plugin is not made for higher-traffic sites, that should be in the documentation.
Please advise. Thank you!
