ralph434285ParticipantFYI: This has nothing to do with WP 5. I still have all my sites on 4.9.8 and I can confirm this bug was definitely introduced with the most recent plugin update to 1.12.8 from two weeks ago. I reverted back to 1.12.7 since I had a backup copy of my site using that version. The last version downloadable on WP.org is 1.12.4 so you may have to just deal with using that until they either fix 1.12.8 or update the copy on WP.org to 1.12.7.
Supsystic,
My fatal error was exactly the same so kindly do not ask us to deactivate anything and try to debug a faulty release. Revert back to 1.12.7 and fatal error is gone. No difference in theme or WP versions, just your plugin.January 3, 2019 at 06:44 #21049

Ole_SupportKeymasterYes, absolutely true. Remove old versions and install new ones.

daveedParticipantHi @Ole_Support thank you that worked …eventually;
I disabled and deleted the plugins and uploaded and enabled the versions you sent;
I was then told there was an update to the free plugin; After updating it I was given the “you are not allowed to view this page”
message and then the message that the free plugin was not installed; I then installed the free plugin again from the repository and things seem to be OK now;Daveed
